Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born on 26 August 2002, is an American singer and rapper. His single from 2019 "Ransom" was his first major hit. It reached the top spot at 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. This track was part the mixtape he released in his debut "We Love You Tecca" (2019), which reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200. The mixtape also included the two singles "Love Me" and "Did It Again". His debut studio album titled Virgo (2020) it debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200. It also included the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles "Dolly" & "When You Down". The mixtape he followed, We Love You Tecca 2, was released in August 2021 which included "Repeat It" and "Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe, a Jamaican immigrants, was born in Queens on August 26, 2002. He was born in Queens in Springfield Gardens. However, Sharpe later relocated to Cedarhurst in Long Island. From a young age, Sharpe had aspirations of being in the NBA however, after the age of 12, he turned his attention toward pursuing a career path in music. Sharpe graduated from Lawrence High School. Tecca, nine years old at the age, was rapping alongside his classmates using his Xbox to record. One of their tracks about diss was posted to SoundCloud many years ago but has since been removed. At the beginning, he did not plan to embark on music and instead had dreams of being an NBA superstar. However, in the middle of his schooling, he lost interest in basketball and considered taking music more seriously. His first single, "Tectri", which gained some popularity in the early 2017 was produced with Lil Gummybear and released in collaboration. Lil Gummybear. Tecca also dropped "Callin" which was another one of his early songs. The hit song of his "Ransom," which was first uploaded to Cole Bennett's Lyrical lemonade YouTube channel on May 22nd, 2019, began the meteoric rise of Tecca. It reached the top spot at 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and has been played more than 900,000,000 times on Spotify and more than 300 million times on YouTube.
