Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush is an American boy group
that is specialized in pop music. The band was created in 2009. The group
consists of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow and Logan Henderson. In 2009, they
signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group appeared
in Nickelodeon’s television show Big Time Rush. The show aired from the
beginning of November 28th, 2009 until July 25, 2013. The pilot episode
included "Big Time Rush" The group's initial single as a promotional
track. Three studio albums were released by the group: BTR in 2010 and Elevate
(2011) as well as 24/Seven (2013). The group went on an indefinite hiatus from
2014 that lasted until 2021 when the group resumed live performances and
released their single "Call It Like I See It". Nickelodeon has signed
Big Time Rush a record agreement in 2009, while also broadcasting the
television show Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon then partnered with Columbia/Epic
Label Group in order to create the series and to provide new music. For the
show, their first single, "Big Time Rush" was released on November 29
in 2009. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon in November 2009, the show
was first broadcast for the time in the American market. The song was later
released internationally. The show premiered in a special preview of the show.
It's currently the show's theme. Promo singles, such as "City is
Ours", "Any Kind of Guy" as well as others were made available
during the course of the series. Big Time Rush also recorded the Play song "Famous",
which was written by the singer. The track was released to iTunes on June 29
2010. The second track, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes after
its debut on the show. It was soon their first charting track on the Billboard
Hot 100. It was ranked at 93 thanks to the digital sales. On September 21 on
the 21st of September in 2010, Big Time Rush released second single "Till
I Forget About You" to celebrate the debut album's release. The album, BTR
came out on the 11th of October, 2010. The album climbed to number 3 on Billboard
200 and sold 67,000 copies in its first week.
