Deborah Rhea Seehorn Bio

Deborah Rhea Seehorn (born May 12 1972) is an American actress. Her most famous role is that of Kim Wexler, an attorney in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-2018) where she received two times the Satellite Award as Best Supporting Actress (Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She has also starred in the NBC show Whitney (2011-2013) as well as ABC's I'm with Her (2003-2004) and TNT's Franklin & Bash (2011-2014). Deborah Rhea Seehorn, a Norfolk native was born on 12 May in 1972. Her mother was executive secretary in the United States Navy, her father was an agent of the Naval Investigative Service. The family was based in Washington, D.C., Arizona, Japan, and was frequently moved throughout her early years. Following the footsteps of her father and grandmother She was interested in drawing, painting and building from very young. She continued to pursue the visual arts, however, she had a growing passion for acting and was introduced to modern theater at the age of college. In 1994 she graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. While at college, Seehorn was looking to get into theater, after being encouraged by her acting instructor. She held a variety of ancillary roles within the theater industry in D.C. to try to make her stand out. She ended up getting some prominent roles in local theater productions but had for odd jobs in order to make ends meet She was also cast in several short instructional films. Then, she began to find roles in television productions. Her roles were often that were "very wry and sarcastic" as her idol Bea Arthur. However, most of the roles she played were part-time series that ended after just two or three seasons. Seehorn was played by Kim Wexler for the Breaking Bad prequel series Better Call Saul in May 2014. Seehorn plays Kim Wexler (a lawyer) and is the love interest of the main character, Jimmy McGill/Saul.
